Ridgedale Surgery Center

Overall we received a good and efficient service on day of my son’s tonsillectomy, from check-in, wait time to recovery and discharge. Staff was very helpful. I had to remove 1 star because it took several phone calls to get an estimate prior to surgery. The surgery was booked 5 weeks prior and until the week of surgery I had to make another follow up to get the estimate. It was important to me because they require payment on the same day and we are talking at least 3k out-of-pocket after insurance & deductible. They billed our insurance 9k for a 30 min procedure (and this doesn’t even include the surgeon and anesthesiologist fees). Go figure but that is really a healthcare issue of our country. Overall, 4 stars for the facility & staff care during the surgery.

Of all my experiences with surgeries (knee, colonoscopy, etc) where I was scared, my experience at Ridgedale Surgery Center was 5⭐️ plus. From the first person I spoke to to the last, each one was AMAZING. My cataract surgery appointment was at noon and by 2pm I was headed home. The staff kept me constantly informed. Each one introduced themselves and told me what they were doing. They explained each and every move they made. They worked like a fine tuned machine. I would name each one but fear I’ll forget someone. They had fun and seemed to really know and like each other. I heard them thank each other for everything. They had great music playing, kept assuring me that I was ok. I just can’t say enough for them and Dr. Marano (my doctor/surgeon). I have to go back to have my other eye done and am actually feeling stress free. I know I’ll be in good hands. Thank you each and every of you.

I had 2 great surgeries at Ridgedale both cataracts removed and the staff was very efficient personable and skilled Ellen or admission Joanne registration Ran pre op Jonathan and Edward OR nurses Gilles and Ashley all spoke clearly as I was only able to wear one hearing aid and I understood everything that they said. I would definitely recommend it for you because of the fast courteous and caring patient care that I received. Thank you for your patience and understanding JoAnn Albanese

Excellent facility - thank you Dr Lebovitz, anesthesia and nursing teams! All around a wonderful experience.
