Dr. David Medford


Dr. Medford is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who attended Cornell University as an undergraduate. After medical school at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), he performed both his Medicine Internship and Ophthalmology Residency at the University Hospital (UMDNJ) program. Dr. Medford, with offices in Morristown and West Orange, has been in private practice since 1988. Dr. Medford concentrates his surgical efforts in Cataract and Refractive Surgery in addition to office based Botox Cosmetic procedures.


He is an Senior Attending Physician at both Morristown Memorial Hospital & St. Barnabas Hospital as well as a Founder & Shareholder/Partner at Ridgedale Surgery Center in Cedar Knolls. Dr. Medford is a Director on the NJ Academy of Ophthalmology’s Board of Governors since the 1990s. For the past 10 years, he has been the Director of the Morris County Eye Health Service as well as Township Ophthalmologist for the West Orange Board of Health. Dr. Medford's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, NJ Academy of Ophthalmology, Morris County Eye Society, Medical Society of NJ and the American Medical Association.
