Dr. Peter Heit


Dr. Heit attended Boston University and then went on to complete his medical training at their School of Medicine. He performed both internship and Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Nutrition & Liver Disease at North Shore University Hospital. He has been in private practice since 1989.


He is an Attending Physician at St. Clare's Hospital as well as an Attending Physician & Shareholder at Ridgedale Surgery Center in Cedar Knolls. Dr. Heit's professional affiliations include American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association & American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
